    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Administer and support enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across production and non-production environments.
    • Manage cluster health, workloads, nodes, platform services, and lifecycle activities.
    • Perform cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and operational validation.
    • Support containerized workloads and troubleshoot platform-level issues involving networking, certificates, authentication, and cluster components.
    • Maintain reliable OpenShift environments running on AWS infrastructure and troubleshoot dependencies between cloud and container platforms.
    • Perform Linux system administration activities supporting container platform operations.
    • Automate routine infrastructure and platform administration tasks using configuration-management and scripting tools.
    • Monitor platform availability, resource utilization, alerts, and operational health.
    • Support security and compliance activities including access controls, RBAC, certificates, vulnerability remediation, and configuration standards.
    • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, release validation, and production support.
    • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and engineering teams to resolve complex platform issues and improve operational reliability.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in Linux infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud operations, or containerized environments.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration in enterprise or production environments.
    • Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, including clusters, workloads, services, and networking.
    • Practical experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure, including IAM, STS, and cloud access mechanisms.
    • Experience in RHEL/Linux administration and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
    • Experience managing OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster upgrades, maintenance, provisioning, and lifecycle operations.
    • Experience troubleshooting production issues involving nodes, workloads, networking, certificates, resource utilization, and platform services.
    • Experience with container technologies, RBAC, platform security, and configuration management.
    • Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident handling, and root-cause analysis in production environments.
    • Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, or infrastructure automation practices.
    • Ability to participate in on-call support and handle critical production incidents.
    • Red Hat certifications are preferred.
